Visa 1 - Essential Skills Work Visa – allows you to live and work in New Zealand up to 2-3 years

Family of 3 - $4,250 NZ Dollars, which equates to 40,500 ZAR.

This is the breakdown:

Visa 2 - Skilled Migrant Visa – is immediate residency

Family of 3 - $7,840 NZ Dollars, which equates to 74,670 ZAR.

Stage 1

Expression of Interest (EOI) Government Lodging Fees - $530 NZ Dollars
EOI’s are selected from the pool every 2 weeks, Invitation to apply within 3 weeks. After selection from the pool, EOI will be reviewed within this time

Stage 2

Application for Residence Government Lodging Fees - $3,310 NZ Dollars
After being issued with an invitation to apply for residence, applications must be submitted within 4 months
Processing times are usually completed within 14 months

Visa 3 - Talent (Accredited Employer) Work to Residence Visa - you must have a job with a minimum salary of $79,560NZ Dollars –

allows you to live and work in New Zealand up to 3 years, and then apply for residency

Family of 3 - $4,750 NZ Dollars, which equates to 45,300 ZAR.

Government Lodging Fees - $635 NZ Dollars per Adult
This visa is usually approved within 3-4 weeks
Depending on the age of the child will determine which visa needs to be applied for

Other Costs not included in the above fees:

Medical Examinations by NZ Government Authorised Panel Doctors: Approx 3,200RAND per person (can vary)
Police Certificates: Approx. 100RAND per person (can vary)
After you apply online you must send your passport to NZ
Immigration in South Africa. The passport fee is for the Visa Application Centre (VAC) in South Africa to receive and handle your passport; 505RAND per person, plus courier fee of 150RAND (This is the fee for your passport and other documents to be returned to you if you don't arrange to collect these yourself)
